Off to University – Well Done, Oliver!

We’ve been so blessed to nurture Oliver’s love for music through piano lessons at The Excelsis School of Music since his early childhood. From his first notes to mastering beautiful melodies, we’ve watched him grow into a confident, creative young musician, supported by our caring teachers and vibrant community.
Now that Oliver has officially begun his university journey, his heartfelt words in this video are a touching reminder of what our school represents—a place where passion thrives and dreams take flight.
Oliver, it’s bittersweet to see you go, but we’re so proud of everything you’ve achieved. We’ll always welcome you back to your Excelsis family whenever you return to London. Wishing you a future filled with music and joy from all of us at The Excelsis School of Music!

My Music Learning Journal

We’ve really enjoyed introducing My Music Learning Journal over the past few weeks, and we’re thrilled with the positive feedback received from both parents and teachers.
Parents have shared that the journal has made it much easier to understand their child’s weekly homework and what they’re working on in lessons. Many have noticed that their child is more motivated to practise, thanks to the clear goals, star rewards, and the opportunity to reflect on their own progress.
Teachers have found the journal helps bring structure and focus to lessons, making it easier to plan and deliver more effective—and enjoyable—sessions. It’s already proving to be a valuable tool in connecting home and lesson time, and we look forward to building on this success in the term ahead. Please continue checking and signing the journal each week to help us maintain these positive results and support your child’s musical journey.
